What if I don’t see a time or date that works for me on your calendar? 

Please email me at (hello@hazelritual.com) if none of the dates or times work for you!  I release new calendar slots every few weeks but have more availability than displayed through the calendar.

Which astrological house system do you use?

I primarily use Whole Sign Houses during readings. I also like working with Campanus and Porphyry occasionally, however I rarely use these systems while working with first-time clients.

Can I gift a friend or loved one a reading with you?

I'm so grateful to everyone who has generously gifted someone else a reading with me <3 There are a few very important guidelines I have around this! The most important, non-negotiable, is that the person must have expressed direct interest in wanting to get a reading of this nature. If they are unsure about wanting a reading with me (even if you know they will love it), please do not gift it to them. It is imperative that this experience is one they are explicitly interested in having themselves. 

I ask that the person receiving the reading, not the gift-giver, fill out the information form directly. This means that by going through the booking form, they will need to be the ones to submit a payment (which you could reimburse to them separately). Alternatively if you'd like to pay directly, please email me (hello@hazelritual.com) and I will need to get in touch with the gift-recipient directly via email to receive the required information.

Is your approach to tarot and astrology based on fortune telling?

No! In my practice, I work with tarot and astrology as languages of energy to help point towards avenues of clarity, support and guidance. I will not make stark predictions about your life or anyone around you. I value privacy and autonomy, and will always respect + co-create the type of experience you're coming for.

Do you offer in-person or virtual readings?

Both! At the time of booking, you will be asked to select if you prefer virtual or in-person.

In-person readings are located near Dundas West subway station in the west end of Toronto. The exact location will be shared after you have booked your reading.

For virtual readings, you will receive an email from me within 24 hours of booking which will include information on how to join our call.

What happens during a reading?

During a reading I always have a candle lit, will offer you tea (in person, of course) and be sure to create a clear and peaceful environment. I deeply value your questions, perspectives and experiences. There is no need to be nervous for a reading! I genuinely only receive information that the person is ready to hear and is supportive and loving by nature. The most important thing is to always trust yourself. If something doesn’t land, trust that you know best. I believe that discernment is key to any reading.

 

What are some different offerings (not listed on your booking page) that you can do or have done in the past? I'm interested in hiring you for something other than a one-on-one birth chart or tarot reading*.

Synastry + composite chart readings between two people (they must both be present and consenting)

Private workshops for small groups related to my death doula work, astrology, dream tending or tarot

Collaborative events or workshops catered to each unique group

Teaching or mentoring students of tarot and/or astrology
